VG Idols

Beatmania was definitely the most important (and epic) costume for me at Fanime, it was the one that I ABSOLUTELY had to get done. Partially because I loved the character design, partially because of how much I was looking forward to cosplaying with Lee, and partially because if I didn't Rai would kill me XD
I ended up wearing it twice at Fanime. The first time was excellent, there's something ego boosting about having members of staff fanboy over you It also resulted in OMFG AMAZING THINGS HAPPENING THE NEXT DAY. It was one of the DJ's birthdays and... well he adores bemani... SO we got to go up on stage during his set and dance and get shots behind the DJ booth!!! It was definitely wonderful and exciting and a little bit embarrassing^.^;; Rai and Lee got suuuper epic shots!

The shoot that THIS shot came from was probably the most awesome though! The three of us were wandering around and we DID want to get pictures, but the only photogs we knew at con were busy T-T Anyway we're chatting with Vance and this "Creepy Photographer" (XD) friend of his comes along, chats for a bit, and then asks for our pictures.
Turns out this guy is AWESOME and he even goes through the trouble of taking out all his lighting equipment to have a mini shoot with us!
It was so sweet and such a pleasant surprise that every time I'm reminded of it I can't help but be really happy^.^
