I don't generally write con reports but for some reason Aki Con always makes me want to,
So I'm gonna sit here listening to my best bud's new CD (kakumei no hibi~) and do my best to write you all one

I volunteered throughout the con, which was ALSO a first, and even though I lost some sleep for it, got flirted with a lot more (o.o; ) and have extremely sore legs, I plan to do it again next year because something about it was Really Really Fun! I think if any of you met Nicky, Danielle and their amazing mom Elaine you'd be able to understand why<3

So let's see... Friday ended up with me doing badge check by the time I finally woke up in the morning, which was fine with me because I was already dead from staying up all night wednesday sewing and staying up until 3(which would have been fine) helping with set up. Pop'n did NOT happen, but I DID finally get to do young Spirit with as my little Stein<3 and as our amazing photog<33 It was awesome of course, especially since it was damn near impossible for us to take any in character pictures XD But our out of character ones were either AMAZING or HELLA CUTE. I also made my gakuran way too big so I was apparently Moe Spirit that time^.^; Oh! And a BIG thank you to for lending me your Shanks wig for that!
I can't actually remember a lot of what I did that day besides that and giving lots of OMFG HI!!! *hugs* to all the friends I got to see again, some near and some far, but all of them friends I hadn't seen nearly enough of in the past couple months. Oh, and I have a very clear memory of giving me THE CUTEST KEYCHAINS EVER!!!!

That night at around 1am or midnight I decided to volunteer some more XD I ended up also grabbing us a temporary volunteer from the manga library and we all went down with Danielle to deal with a bunch of stuff in the video game room. As I'm sure you all noticed it was a bit different on Saturday.
I went to sleep at 3am that night and then get up at 7:30 to guard the stares! I got to meet a very nice man named Hanz who chatted with me, gave me candy, and then made sure I was over 18 XDDD He had a giant wristwatch Aether detector, I really wanted to buy it x.x
Although I'm pretty sure Cap would insist on buying it, have it around, and then admit to Locke that he had no idea what the fuck Aether was but it's probably hella cool.

After I was done watching the stares I gradually started getting sick, it wasn't bad but I ended up hiding in my hotel room and kinda hiding/sleeping for the next couple hours. So thanks a whooooole lot to my friends that dealt with me then, I know you all had your own things to worry about too*hugs*
Oh! but before that I went and had breakfast in the hotel! Nicky was really really sweet and gave me her breakfast voucher, I think it's because she didn't actually have time to stop that long to eatT-T I thought I was going to eat alone, but then Ron, his buddy, and Vance showed up! So it stopped being the roneriest breakfastXD

AND THEN I BOUGHT THE CUTEST THERMOS EVER!

My cosplays for Saturday were probably the coolest ones I wore that weekend. One of them was our super special seeeeeecret cosplay that only people who have watched the Opening for Baccano would understand. But it was AMAZING ISAAC! [link]
We ended up doing I tiny thing for part of the introduction for the Cosplay Showdown, much kidnapping occured. We ended up staying to watch the contest, but my costume was heeeella warm, so Brett lended me his shirt and I made it THE BEST DRESS EVER XD This was AFTER getting the ok from and her promising that nothing is too short XDDD I-it wasn't THAT short, I just wasn't allowed to bend over...
ANYWAY AFTER team DJ Diddles won 500 dollars by having AMAZING BlazBlue cosplay me 'n Brett changed back into our costumes and got Beautiful pictures taken by we also DIDN'T STOP BELIEVING when too many people pressed buttons during setting up our rockband song. Cheyenne filmed, it was awesomeXD Isaac and Miria are actually my favorite costumes in the series, so I was really really happy to get to cosplay those amazing versions without having to do it alone I'm still going to make the normal version some day! but ANYWAY! After all that I quickly changed into Rin for AWESOME VOCALOID TIMES! My darling twin made our headsets and I helped with the very last of the cutting and gluing, then we headed to the FUCKING AWESOME cosplay hall and had a semi crazy vocaloid shoot XD Sorry we were all so late guys^.^;;; I'm just really happy that Triple Baka finally happened XD And that me and Carina can kidnap Rai and get Green is the Enemy purikura in our ACTUAL vocaloid clothes, which will look AMAZING in a purikura booth!
After that we ended up having a small party in our room that involved a lot coffee crisps and talking XD
Then later the most amazing thing happened. Last year Akicon HAD a DJ for the dance, but for whatever reason this time they didn't. So instead they were just gonna have a playlist of misc. club music. Carina HAD her iPod FULL of amazing music... so... w-we actually had a dance with jpop, jtechno, video game music, anime music, and general amazingness. Rai and I used to talk about how amazing it would be to have capsule at a dance and on saturday night THAT's what we danced to;^_^; THANK YOU DJ ULTIMAAA!!!!
We literally danced until past 4 o'clock in the morning o.o once we got back to our room we decided (after some cheetos and coffee crisps) that it would be a GREAT idea to go to the hot tub... and then after THAT we decided it would be an even GREATER idea to go to Denny's after that *stares at *

Needless to say, Sunday rolled along and I felt like shit XD I actually did not volunteer at ALL that day until it was time for take down, so I felt reeeeaally really bad, but apparently none of the people running the con cared XD Earlier in the day I cosplayed Chrona with a bunch of my Soul Eater buddies. I was happy to wear it, because I'd debuted the (extremely unfinished) costume at last years Aki Con<3 After that I changed into Don't Say Lazy Ritsu (also unfinished^.^ and went to OMFG CAPTAIN MECHA GODZILLA SPACE CHANNEL RAI MOTHER FUCKING KAMISHIRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And after that was take down until... I dunno... some time after ten? And then Brett and Cheyenne drove me home and I fell asleep
I'm pretty sure I actually got more food and sleep then any of the other volunteers there...
So there you have it! My con report! I probably forgot things! Oh! And we used up all of the hotels' tables and chairs XDDD

Hey Rai? Tsundere 2x4 is hella moe, but did you know Karl put a note in there that sounds exactly like my phone vibrating when it plays through my speakers? Yeah. GOOD JOB SCIENCE ALSO HOLY SHIT YOU AND KARL NEED TO DO MORE COLLABOS!!!!!

P.s. And I totally slept in my Aki Con T-shirt last nightXDD IT'S SO SMOOTH.
